The bands are excellent for achieving muscle fatigue at the end of weighted sets. The bands are amazing at isolating a particular muscle because you are able to change angles with ease. I have just had workouts with only the bands and achieved the same pump and burn from weights. After using the bands the first time, I bought four more sets as gifts.

Iron Infidel is awesome. Their customer service is outstanding. Connected at one end to a post by a carabiner, this band gives great resistance for bicep, tricep, lats, and shoulder exercises for me. Folded in half and used with two handles connected to the loops with wide carabiners, this band is also great for flys and presses. A superior product for those on the road or stuck with little access to the gym. Get creative and find an anchor and you're catching a work-out in minutes. Make sure to get the three lower strength bands so you can work up to the resistance of this one. You can also use two of the lower resistance bands, which a little more resistance than this one.

I’ve been on my department’s Correctional Emergency Response Team (CERT) for over a decade and had to be confronted with innumerable situations where being physically fit determined how successful I was at doing my job. I did not have very much experience using bands prior to buying two 4 pack sets of bands from Iron Infidel when I started putting a gym together in my garage. I follow a lot of advice from Matt Wenning specifically around the conjugate method of training and adding bands to my workouts has made a huge increase in my overall strength. I still use plates and add bands off and on to everything from heavy sets, speed sets, and chaotic movements by hanging plates. I also use the bands almost every workout during warmups as they essentially can mimic almost any movement on a cable machine. I’ve used the bands for leg curls, triceps push downs, lat pull downs, and a variety of shoulder work. The owner is also a hell of a guy. He is quick to respond to messages and has pointed me in the direction of some Facebook band groups that have a ton of information.
