Marc's ambitions were fueled by a deep commitment to defending freedom and protecting his fellow soldiers. Known for his exceptional courage, dedication, and camaraderie, Marc aimed to embody the highest ideals of the Navy SEALs, continually striving to be a source of strength and support for his teammates.
On July 18, 2006, during his deployment in Ramadi, Iraq, Navy SEAL Marc Lee displayed remarkable bravery and resilience. That day, Marc and his SEAL team were engaged in a critical operation to counter insurgent activities in one of the most dangerous areas of the city. During the mission, the team encountered heavy enemy fire. Despite the intense combat situation, Marc demonstrated exceptional leadership and courage.

Marc moved through the kill zone multiple times, providing suppressive fire to protect his team and allow them to maneuver to safer positions. His extraordinary bravery and leadership during the intense firefight in Ramadi were acknowledged with the Bronze Star with Valor. Only a few weeks later, during a critical and intense firefight, Marc again exposed himself to enemy fire multiple times to protect his team and provide covering fire, allowing his teammates to maneuver safely. Despite the overwhelming danger, Marc's unflinching bravery and decisive actions played a pivotal role in the success of the mission and the safety of his fellow SEALs.
